Independence Day

Our school came together to celebrate the 78th Independence Day with pride, colour and a deep sense of gratitude. It is one of the most important days on our calendar, a chance for our students to remember the long struggle that won our nation its freedom.
The morning began with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem sung by the whole school standing together. The sight of every child saluting the tricolour was a moving reminder of the values of unity and patriotism that we hope to instil in them.
Students then presented a programme of patriotic songs, skits and dances that recalled the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and the spirit of those who built our country. Through these performances, even our youngest learners came to understand the meaning of the freedom they enjoy today, and the duty each of us has to use it well and to serve our nation.
